Environmental Public Health Online Courses (EPHOC)
Environmental Public Health Online Courses (EPHOC) development was started in 2006. The major partners in this project were the Jefferson County Department of Health (JCDH) Environmental Health Services and the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Public Health. This UAB program is a partner in the South Central Preparedness and Emergency Response Learning Center (SCPERLC) with Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. read more . . .
An article on the successful implementation and use of the Environmental Public Health Online Courses (EPHOC) program column was recently published in the June issues of the Journal of Environmental Health (see link below), authored by Lisa McCormick, DrPH and Jesse Pevear, III, MSPH, both from the UAB School of Public Health. EPHOC development began in 2006. The major partners in this project were the Jefferson County Department of Health (JCDH) Environmental Health Services and the University of Alabama – Birmingham’s (UAB) School of Public Health.
